After a vigorous training run for selection, seven local boys have been selected to represent the Picola and District Football League in this weekend’s interleague competition.

The interleague competition brings the best players from different leagues and puts them against each other, to determine which league has the premier junior talent.
And it’s not just footy players who have been called up.
Blighty thirds coach Matt Dudley has also been appointed the coach of the Picola and District Football League’s under-17s, a great honour to both Dudley and the Blighty Football Club.
Games are to be played at the Mernda Football Ground in Mernda this Sunday.
