All Saints Anglican School has officially opened its doors for the first time.
On Tuesday, January 30, the first students took their first steps on campus.
Years 3 to 7 were the first to walk through the gates, with Preps and Years 1 and 2 due to start on Friday, February 2.
There were plenty of excited faces as the students got their first look at their new school, reuniting with old friends and making new ones.
But nobody was as excited as principal Jim Laussen, who was more than ready to welcome the 224 students into the Shepparton school.
“I’m relieved that we’re here, and I’m really hopeful for what’s going to happen in the future,” he said.
“When you think that families have really put their faith in us, it’s great that we’ve been able to reward that faith by opening.”
The News headed to the opening to catch a glimpse of all the excited students ready to kick off the school year.
