Author Kyra Geddes will be stopping by Shepparton Library to chat through her debut novel.
Ms Geddes’ debut novel, The Story Thief, blends fact and fiction.
It is a family saga set against key moments in Australian history, and is inspired by Henry Lawson’s The Drover’s Wife.
Born in Adelaide as the daughter of German immigrants, Ms Geddes pursued writing after a successful career in marketing.
She returned to university to study English and pursue her life-long dream of writing, and has published two short stories.
The author talk is happening on Friday, November 29 at 2.30pm.
Those wishing to meet Ms Geddes and hear about her debut novel can book by calling Goulburn Valley Libraries on 1300 374 765 or by emailing shepparton@gvlibraries.com.au
