Police probe after four people killed in highway crash

Police attended and found a ute and a van had collided.

Two men who were in the ute, aged 18 and 19, and a man and woman in the van - both aged 57 - died at the scene.

They are yet to be formally identified.

The male driver of the ute was taken to Dubbo Hospital with suspected leg injuries.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.

Police established a crime scene and are investigating.

The Newell Highway has reopened between Tomingley and Dubbo but emergency services remain at the scene.
