B-grade Cats still searching for win

Finley B-grade travelled to Barooga on Thursday night looking to get its first win of the season, but things did not go to plan.

Batting first, Finley was never able to build any partnerships.

They lost wickets regularly to be bowled out for 56.

The best of Finley’s batters were Ryan Donkin (16) and Cameron Isedale (15).

Finley took the field looking to bowl Barooga out cheaply, and started well with Jackson Tooke taking a wicket with his first ball.

Finley took regular wickets and kept the pressure on Barooga, but they were too good for the Cats.

Barooga got over the line six wickets down to chase down 57 after 18 overs, winning by four wickets.

The best of Finley’s bowlers were Nathan Brown (2-13) and Jackson Tooke (2-16).

B-grade head back to Katunga this weekend looking to get their first win.
