The weather held off for those brave enough to come along to the Berrigan Night Market and Carols and enjoy the festivities.
The carols were fabulous, and the young talent that we have in this town is amazing.
Congratulations to all who participated, especially the residents from Uniting.
Adding to the night was the presentation of cheques from the Nangunia Open Day, which was held in October.
The pool committee, school and Berrigan Children Centre were all presented just over $7000 each.
Thank you to everyone who supported the day at Nangunia.
The Night Market again featured the Berrigan Red Cross Fashion Extravaganza, which then continued with another showing on Saturday.
Berrigan Red Cross would like to thank everyone who supported the two events.
It was very successful with money raised for the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery (Friday) and Berrigan Multi Purpose Service (Saturday).
Claiming the $60 voucher in the raffle on Friday night was Marnie Steer, while Jackie Zorzer won the $40 voucher.
Saturday’s raffle winners saw Kate (surname not provided) win the cashmere scarf, and Michelle Steer won the bracelet.
The Berrigan Red Cross Shop will now offer a half price sale until it closes for the Christmas break, on Saturday, December 21.
After a short break, the shop will reopen on Monday, January 13.
