‘‘All are welcome — visitors, travellers, holiday goers and locals. It is going to be a great afternoon,’’ licensee Rick Shaw said.
‘‘It is a chance to come together and celebrate each other and what is good in our community and country.’’
The entry price includes barbecue foods and entertainment, or you can order from the club’s standard menu at your own cost. Drinks are available at bar prices.
The barbecue will feature an array of meats, salads and some extra dishes.
‘‘And we will have some classic Australian desserts to finish the night with a bang,’’ Mr Shaw said.
The first musical act, Drest, will play contemporary and hip hop before Trendy Crow takes over to blast some Aussie favourites.
‘‘There will be something to suit everyone’s taste, so don’t forget to bring the whole family to the Finley Country Club this Australia Day,’’ Mr Shaw said.
