Debutantes finally get their ball

Debutante trainer and coordinator Vicki Ackers said each showed an enormous amount of resilience and versatility in the face of the shut down, and were rewarded with a fantastic event.

‘‘I am so proud of this group of debutantes,’’ Mrs Ackers said.

‘‘They were incredible and had waited a very long time for their night. They were without a doubt the best deb group that I’ve had the privilege to work with.’’

At the ball, hosted by Finley Little Athletics, the couples performed the Samba, Tangoette, Cha Cha Cha, Progressive Evening 3 Step and Mamma Mia Medley.
