The show featured fashions from Ida Jane, Tocumwal and was held at the Lions Community Centre, in Adams Street.
The fun began at noon, with raffles and prizes galore and a tasty lunch of cold meats and salads.
The organisers of the event have been overwhelmed with the response to the fashion show and have had nothing but positive feedback.
They wanted to make special mention to their models of the day for braving the crowd and strutting down the catwalk.
They also extend a big thank you to Sharon Dennis for providing the beautiful flowers and Linda Lechter for arranging them which made a stunning addition to the tables.
Congratulations once again on a fantastic event, fundraising for two incredibly worthy organisations.

The Tocumwal Community Development Committee (TCDC) is a not-for-profit organisation, comprising a group of like-minded Tocumwal residents and business owners.
From ‘true’ locals to new locals, the members’ backgrounds, ages, and interests are diverse but all have a passionate interest in preserving the history and shaping the future of our town and our community.
The TCDC is a voice for Tocumwal.
It meets regularly with the Berrigan Shire, presenting ideas and suggestions for collaborative projects and or financial support.
Initial projects being addressed are the Christmas Carols, youth programs and improved safety and security measures in Tocumwal.
The TCDC has existed for many years.
Members were unable to meet during COVID but in 2023, it has re-formed with new energy and many new faces.
The new committee office holders are John Stringer, Graham Priestley, Zoe Stringer, Anne Jones, Grant and Nerissa O’Donnell, Shylie Priestley, Carol Morgan, and Olivier Flury.
The committee meets on the third Tuesday of each month, 7pm at the library (side entry).
All are welcome to attend and sign up for membership.
You can learn more or contact the group via their Facebook page (search ‘tcdc2714’).
Outcomes, updates and new meeting information is posted on there, or get in touch with president John Stringer on 0438 881 994 or via email to tcdc2714@gmail.com.
