The total value of the grants is $40,000, funded by a portion of ticket sales from the event.
The 2024 grant recipients include:
• Tocumwal Little Explorers: A community-driven early childhood education centre dedicated to fostering a love of learning in young children.
• Berrigan Community Garden: A communal space where residents can grow fresh produce, learn about sustainable gardening, and build a stronger sense of community.
• NSW SES Tocumwal and Cobram Unit: Providing essential emergency services and support to the local area, ensuring community safety and resilience.
• Dutch Thunder Wildlife Rescue: A volunteer organisation committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing injured and orphaned wildlife.
• The Barooga Public School Parents and Citizens Association: Supporting the educational needs and extracurricular activities of students at Barooga Public School.
• Finley Pony Club: Offering young people the opportunity to learn horse riding and equestrian skills in a safe and supportive environment.
• The Barooga Botanical Gardens Committee: Enhancing and maintaining the beautiful Barooga Botanical Gardens for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike.
• Tocumwal Primary School: Providing vital resources and programs to enrich the educational experience of its students.
• Tocumwal Martial Arts: Promoting physical fitness, discipline, and self-confidence through martial arts training.
• Little Wing: Supporting local families and children with essential services and activities.
The Strawberry Fields Festival is held in Tocumwal and celebrates its 15-year anniversary this year.

This prestigious designation underscores the festival's role in driving regional visitation and tourism, showcasing the unique character and culture of Berrigan Shire, and contributing to the economic vitality of New South Wales.
