The hot weather limits the capacity to produce but there are still cucumbers, Asian greens and beans that are almost finished which can be picked straight off the bush.
The tomatoes are slowly ripening in the fruit fly mesh cage; please use the tomatoes in the bucket on the produce table beside the shipping container.
The pumpkins are growing steadily and will benefit from a few more weeks growth before picking.
Potted plants are available for sale, with a donation slot in the shipping container under the verandah beside the produce container. Books are also available.
The committee is producing compost from its own waste exclusively, to reduce importing pests and diseases to the gardens, and only produces enough compost for the Community Garden.
The committee meets twice a week - Wednesdays at 1.30pm and Saturdays at 9.30am - for an hour or so.
Everyone is welcome to come along to help out or simply have a chat and a cuppa.
