Campaspe Shire Mayor, Cr Rob Amos, said the uptake of the adoption drive has been well received, and there’s still a range of animals waiting for a new home.
“The reduced adoption fees have been extended to help as many of our kittens, cats, puppies and dogs find their forever homes,” he said.
“The shelter does a great job of caring for and rehoming surrendered animals, and this adoption drive will assist with helping even more pets find a home.”
“The normal adoption process and registration fees apply.
“Come make an appointment at the shelter and help find these furry friends a new home.”
A current furry friend up for adoption at the Campaspe Animal Shelter is staff favourite Buddy, a Kelpie, with a lot of energy to spare!
He was bred to enjoy a full day’s work, so he would be best suited to a large property where he could run and play to his heart’s content.
These active days also mean Buddy is likely to sleep well at night, chasing balls in his dreams after a satisfying day of play.
Buddy is a dedicated and warm-hearted fellow with a lively spirit who awaits a home where his energetic and cheerful personality can shine and be your perfect companion, bringing even more joy to your days.
If a feline is the furry friend you are looking for, bringing warmth and happiness to your home, along with lots of cuddles, Meow Meow and Freya will melt your heart.
Meow Meow, suited to an only-cat household, excels as a cuddly, purry, head-bumping confidant who will make you feel like the only person in the world.
Freya, with her adventurous nature and full of energy, loves exploring her surroundings, finding anything she can fit herself into, and will provide you with hours of laughter with her silly kitten antics.
You can adopt Buddy, Meow Meow or Freya and give them a for-ever-home.
