Ms Fox had been in the role for 3 years, and her departure was reported to staff by the Intereach board on Thursday last week.
Intereach chair Pat Fogarty said ‘‘we are grateful to Keryn for the total dedication, energy and vision she has given to Intereach, and the communities we serve, during her time as CEO’’.
‘‘During her time with the organisation, Keryn has overseen great changes and workplace improvements.
‘‘Under her leadership, Intereach programs and services have reached many more communities.
‘‘We are more accessible to individuals, families and communities, with 17 offices located across New South Wales and Victoria.
‘‘We wish Keryn the absolute best in all of her future endeavours.’’
The board has appointed Intereach general manager corporate services Yvette Buhagiar, who is based in Bendigo, as interim CEO.
‘‘Our first priority is to ensure stability and business continuity within Intereach,’’ Mrs Fogarty said.
‘‘For this reason, we have asked Yvette Buhagiar to serve as interim CEO, with support from (general managers) Michelle Tai and Sam Hall, as we begin the process of permanently filling the CEO position.’’
