It was a tight game against Strathy in B grade. The girls came out firing in the first quarter, and with a solid first half were able to maintain the lead until the end.
The defenders didn’t make it easy for their shooters and they were able to get a lot of turnovers.
A few bad passes and lack of driving could have been the side’s undoing, but it’s something to work on in the coming weeks.
We hope to keep up this intensity for the rest of the season, to give ourselves the best chance at finals.
Final score, Jerilderie 39 d Strathmerton 33.
