Two ladies have decided to help with this situation and are issuing an invitation to join them at the Finley Library at 10am on each Thursday for a cuppa and a chat.
Everyone is welcome; just bring along your own cuppa and nibblies and join Jacci and Jenny in this relaxing and friendly social group.

The Finley Local Health Advisory Committee has organised a blood bank drive to Shepparton on Saturday, October 26.
The organisers still have a few spaces available for anyone who would like to be involved.
To check if you are eligible to donate blood, go to https://www.lifeblood.com.au/.
The group booking has been made for 8.30am until 11am.
By donating blood, you give a chance at life to those in need and you never know when it might be you or a member of your family who could have that need.

‘Unlocking Hope No. 11 – Understanding Dementia’ will be presented by the Berrigan Shire Dementia Alliance at the Finley RS Club, 63-67 Tocumwal St, on Thursday, October 10.
An invitation is extended to all residents in Finley and surrounding areas to attend.
Please arrive by 10.15am for a 10.30am start.
Presenter Alison Luelf has been working with members of the Alliance since it’s inception, and her extensive knowledge and experience has continued to help those with dementia, their families and carers.
Alison will be accompanied by Sally Carrington, who is the care Finder for Uniting Aged Care, Murrumbidgee South, based in Berrigan.
Sadly, many families are becoming affected by this condition, but the Unlocking Hope series is proving very beneficial to local resident.

Members of CanAssist Finley branch and the community are advised that the AGM will take place at the Country Club, Finley next Tuesday, October 8, commencing at 6pm.
New members are always welcome, so please feel free to attend.
All funds raised by CanAssist Finley stay locally and are used to assist those in Finley and surrounding areas in their journey with cancer.

Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Finley is finalising plans for its Parish fete on Saturday, October 12, beginning at 9am.
This year's theme is ‘Rainbow’.
There will be morning tea, a barbecue, beverages, plant stalls, cakes and produce, donuts, craft stalls, children's activities, colouring competition, a money tree, spinning wheel, raffle and a single bloom competition.
So put on something colourful, collect the best flower in your garden for the bloom competition, and go on down to the Anglican Church, situated on the corner of Coree and Pinnuck Streets, to enjoy a lovely day out.
In the event of bad weather, the fete will move into the church hall.

Wagga Wagga Catholic Diocese Bishop Mark Edwards will be travelling to Finley this weekend to take part in the celebrations of 100 years of the church in Finley and 74 years of St Mary’s Parish.
This will commence with Mass at 10.15am on Sunday morning, and will be followed by morning tea/lunch.
Those attending are asked to bring a plate to share.
An invitation is extended to all members of the community to attend.
