Despite the early showers, the weather cleared up in the afternoon and provided a much improved setting for a day of garden exploration.
Visitors from Mansfield, Benalla, Wangaratta, Tatura, Shepparton, Echuca, Barham, Deniliquin, Leeton, Narrandera, Murchison, Yarrawonga and Griffith, and locals from Finley, Jerilderie, Barooga, Berrigan and Tocumwal, were amongst the avid gardeners who attended.
With a total of six magnificent and diverse gardens on display, visitors were treated to a visual feast of gardening wonders.
From meticulously manicured lawns to natural bush settings and creative artworks, each garden was an impressive showcase of the hard work and dedication of its owners.
Garden owners included Sharon Dennis, Ron and Marg Dixon, Geoff and Kerren Edwards, John and Lynne Gradie, Bill and Judy Harvie and Peter and Rosie Webb.
The gardens were thoughtfully presented, with vibrant colours and lush foliage creating a picturesque setting for visitors to enjoy.

Many were inspired by the creativity and innovation on display, with ideas to take home and implement in their own gardens.
Aside from the breathtaking gardens, there were other attractions for visitors to enjoy.
A plant and produce stall offered a wide variety of locally sourced plants, fruits, vegetables and preserves for purchase, allowing visitors to take a piece of the garden magic home with them.
A pottery stall showcased beautiful handmade ceramics, while a handmade quilt display added a touch of charm to the event.
One of the highlights of the day was the raffle, with lucky winners taking home some fantastic prizes.
Beryl White from Katamatite was thrilled to win the first prize, a voucher for Byramine Homestead & Brewery - an historic local landmark known for its extensive gardens.
Chris Girdwood from Jerilderie was the lucky recipient of the second prize, which was a garden trolley filled with gardening essentials.
Ron and Marg Dixon's garden was one of six included in the Open Gadens Day.
Trish Dawes from Tocumwal took home the third prize, which was a generous Tupperware package donated by local resident Kate Heintze.
Despite the initial rain, the Tocumwal Open Gardens Day was a resounding success, attracting more than 250 visitors.
The event not only showcased the natural beauty of the region, but also highlighted the talent and creativity of the local community.
The organisers, the Tocumwal Optimists’ Club, expressed their gratitude to all the garden owners, volunteers, and visitors who made the day a memorable one.
