The highest local achievement went to the Strawberry Fields Festival at Tocumwal, which claimed silver in the Major Festivals & Events section.
Coming just weeks after another successful event on the banks of the Murray River at Tocumwal, the award is based on the 2023 event.
Claiming bronze awards were Sporties Barooga in the Tourist Attractions section, and Tocumwal Chocolate School in the Excellence in Food Tourism section.
They were among nine medal winners from the Destination River Murray NSW tourism region, with others based in Albury, Wagga, Mount Adrah, Tumbararumba and Tumut.
The 2024 NSW Tourism Awards showcased the very best in the industry, with more than 200 submissions vying for recognition.
Riverina Murray finalists were lauded for their innovation, dedication, and ability to deliver unforgettable visitor experiences.
Their success is a testament to the region's growing visitor economy and commitment to excellence.

Winners from the NSW Tourism Awards will now advance to the national stage, competing in the prestigious Australian Tourism Awards in early 2025.
