Armed with saws, John and David O’Dwyer cut up a Queensland Blue Pumpkin at the Berrigan Community Garden to share.
Members present were delighted to take home a piece.
The group also has beans, tomatoes, leek, capsicum, basil, zucchini, potatoes, spaghetti squash and herbs ready to pick.

Tidy Up Berrigan National Clean Up Day will be on Sunday, March 5.
The meeting point is at the Welcome to Berrigan sign on Albury Rd, just outside the Tank Paddock.
It will be a 9am start and 11am finish, with morning tea at the conclusion.
Bring a friend, family member and a smile. All welcome.

There is a lot of lost property in the box at the Berrigan War Memorial Pool.
Please come and ask if you think you may have left something behind.
Any items left at the end of the season will be donated to charity.
Lap swimming is still on Sunday to Thursday at 6pm for anyone interested.
The pool will be closing mid-March, depending on the weather and patronage.

The Decommissioning Mass of Saint Brendan's Catholic Church will take place at 11am on Sunday, March 12.
This will be presided over by Bishop Mark Edwards of Wagga Wagga Diocese.
A light luncheon will follow at the Savernake School of Arts Hall.
All past and present parishioners, families and friends are cordially invited to attend.

The IGA Golf Day will be held on Sunday, March 26 with tee off at 10am.
It is teams of four for ambrose, with the $25 per head including a barbecue.
There are great prizes up for grabs, as well as many raffle prizes.

The next race meeting for the Berrigan Race Club will be Saturday, March 4.
This race meeting is in conjunction with the Finley Chamber of Commerce.
It will be a 5 race programme featuring the Finley Autumn Cup.
Full TAB and bookmaker facilities are available on course.
There will also be entertainment for the kids, with a jumping castle and face painting and the ever popular fairy floss, ice creams and popcorn.
The country fashions on the field will include Lady of the Day, Couple of the Day and Young Race Goer Under 18, with prizes sponsored by local businesses.
This is always a great day.

Berrigan is once again having a Whole Town Garage Sale on Saturday, March 25.
Registration costs $10 and needs to be dropped into the Berrigan Bookshop by Thursday, March 23 to get your garage sale on the map and receive your garage sale sign.

South West Arts is hosting a five day residential camp in Berrigan during the school holidays.
This camp is aimed at 12 to 18 year olds and offers multiple workshops across multiple music and performance disciplines.
The event culminates in a performance for family and friends by the participants.

Berrigan Playgroup is on every Wednesday from 10am to noon at the Madill Centre.
Bring your own morning tea and lunch for your child.
Cost for the morning is just $1.
Just turn up when you can and meet other mums, dads, carers and babies in a friendly, informal and supportive setting.
Activities include free play, craft, painting, dancing and outdoor adventures suitable for babies and toddlers.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Berrigan Heritage Museum Street Stall last Friday.
Winner of the $50 Evans Butchery voucher was Nev Burke.
Lucille Dickins won the $25 Evans Butchery voucher.
All profits go towards the ongoing preservation of Berrigan's Local History.
Working bees are held at the museum each Wednesday.
The museum is open to the public each Wednesday morning.
