Player shortages across the senior and reserve sides saw Tocumwal go down to Numurkah on the weekend.

It was a tough day from the outset but a big shout out to the four under-17s boys who doubled up and played two games for the day.
In the seniors, Numurkah was far too strong, despite some impressive performances by Tocumwal on the ground.

Tocumwal’s woes continued for the undermanned reserves side.
They had high hopes of backing up their win against Numurkah earlier in the year, however the reserves were hampered by injuries.
The Blues had a strong team on the field, and were running and spreading from the contest and from the outset.
Tocumwal definitely had moments of brilliance, and early in the game arguably had more of the ball.
The Blues were able to score very easily in transition from defence.
Notable efforts by Adam Kent, who was in for his first game of the season.
Kenny Chellew was sent down back to stop their tall goal scorer, and Liam Colston was consistent throughout the middle all day.
Tocumwal will be back next week to take on Moama at home.

In the fourths, the Buzz Cut Bloods are making their coaches proud in the way they turn up each week and never give up.
The battle against a very different Numurkah fourths to our round two clash was hard fought, and while they suffered defeat, their indomitable spirit shone brightly.
From start to finish Chace Brunskill dominated with hard ball gets, Heath Mansell and Cooper Quick contested in the guts.
Archie Chellew and Josh Herezo were solid in the back.
Sean Lykissas did a brilliant job rucking for all four quarters and Harrison Wilson snagged an exciting goal.
Hopefully Jake Hicks will return from his injury soon, he is considered a big out for the team.
A proud moment for the coach was when some little fellas, Ollie East, Brax Brunskill, Judd Haebich and Nate Dickins took on the opposition’s much bigger three midfielders and won the ball.
Hopefully they can carry this intensity into next week’s game against Moama.
