Riley hails originally from Coleambally.
He then moved on to Albury, and then Canberra.
He ran a time of 1:38:48 in his international debut and his journey will continue with other competitions coming up later in the year.

Spending 53 plus years amongst the rigs is a massive achievement and we are very proud of your efforts John.
John is well known amongst many communities for his road transport business, as well as his farming prowess.
John and his wife Yvonne used to own Farm 581 on De Sailly Rd, but have both now settled in Shepparton, Victoria.

The Murrumbidgee Council area is lucky enough to have secured 30 spots at the 2024 Portsea Camp.
The event goes from January 15 to 19 and is held in the Mornington Peninsula.
