The Tocumwal Foreshore Market’s ever-popular orange juice machine — and one of Tocumwal Rotary Club’s biggest fundraisers — has been revived.
The fresh-squeezed orange juice machine sat in a state of disrepair for most of 2020 and 2021.

Now, as the world begins to open up even further, the Rotary Club has dusted off the machine and conducted the necessary service.
It was completed in time for Saturday’s Tocumwal Foreshore Market, and with temperatures soaring to 41°C on the day its appearance was a welcome relief for bargain shoppers.
Tocumwal Rotary Club president Ashok Kulandaisamy said next to the Rotary Op-shop, the juice stand is the biggest fundraiser for the club.
Proceeds made from the sale of juice goes back into local projects, or to local charities.
‘‘It’s been a very successful project in the last few years, and is going to remain as a staple for the next few years at least,’’ Mr Kulandaisamy said.
The Tocumwal Rotary Club uses freshly squeezed and locally sourced oranges for the juice, and sells cups for $3 each.
