Samuel White was awarded the 2024 Tocumwal Pharmacy Prize for Pupil of the Year after an excellent year with his studies.
He was presented with a pen made from the redgum floorboards of the century old school library.
In his annual address, principal Darren White paid tribute to the staff, students and families of the school community who each played a role in the continued academic success of TPS.
“2024 has been a truly outstanding year, filled with academic excellence, sporting triumphs, and a sense of community that continues to thrive,” Mr White said.
“Beyond academics and sports, our school continues to offer a wide array of enriching experiences for all students.
“From excursions to leadership opportunities, performing arts to cultural events, we aim to nurture the whole child and provide opportunities for every student to grow, explore, and shine.
“These are the experiences that make primary school such a special place to learn and develop, laying the foundations for lifelong curiosity, resilience, and passion.”
Tocumwal Public also announced its 2025 school captains at presentation evening.
At the head of the leadership team will be captains Lily Baldwin and Charlie Wilson, supported by vice captains Maya Daggett and Joel Harrison.
