The finished work will be arriving the Friday before.
Brett (Mon) Garling, the creator of the masterpiece, will supervise the placement of the sculpture in RSL Park.
A crane will be used for the heavy lifting, providing a spectacular and historic moment to witness.
Much interest has been shown in the anticipated unveiling, and it is expected that many visitors will come to enjoy the day’s activities, which will start at 11am, and go until 4pm.
The official unveiling will be at 2pm.

Staff and residents at the Jerilderie MPS are taking advantage of the warmer weather, and holding twice monthly ‘Happy Hour’ at the facility - from 2.30pm to 4.30pm on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month.
The lovely residents’ garden/front verandah area will be the venue for the gatherings.
Snacks and non-alcoholic punch will be provided, but BYO other drinks.
Everyone is welcome, but please don’t attend if you are feeling unwell.
This is an opportunity for a social catch up for residents, families, friends, and members of the community.

Tomorrow evening, at 6pm, St Joseph’s School will be presenting their School Extravaganza at the Civic Hall.
It is a gold coin donation to enter.
The students have been perfecting their dance routines under the masterful eye of Amy Foley, so go along for a delightful evening’s entertainment.

At the recent AGM of the Jerilderie Football Netball Club, the following were elected to executive positions: Carson Thomas as president and public officer, Dean Knight as vice president, Carmen Lawton as treasurer, Evangeline Beech as secretary, Ella Arnold as assistant secretary and Eden Hercus as netball operations manager.
Fees for the 2025 footy and netball season were set.
It is $180 for a senior player, $100 for a social membership or junior player membership and $50 for aged pensioners.

A belated happy birthday to ‘Blue’ Warwicker, who sneaked in his 90th birthday in early October without much fanfare.
Family members gathered around to help Blue celebrate the occasion.
