St Columba’s hosts Diocese schools

This year’s theme was ‘Discovering the Catholic School Difference’.

St Columba’s principal Damien Taylor said the event day was enjoyed by all students.

‘‘We started the day with a small liturgy in the church followed by rotational activities including music, Aboriginal art and sport,’’ he said.

‘‘Skillzone and South West Music brought along representatives to help run the day.

‘‘We were also joined by three Aboriginal workers from the Catholic Schools’ Office in Wagga.

‘‘It was a great celebration for all five schools and a good way to start Catholic School’s Week.’’

Berrigan Lions Club cooked a barbecue for the hot and hungry children.
