Planning on studying at university, TAFE or VET, or starting an apprenticeship or traineeship and wondering how you’re going to afford it?
If you are aged between 16 and 25 and live or completed the majority of your schooling in the area of a local CEF foundation, you could be eligible for a local CEF grant.
It’s simple to apply and could help you pay for things like accommodation, textbooks, tools or uniforms.
Make sure you check the closing date of your local CEF foundation on the website and apply in plenty of time.

Save the date - the Coleambally Community ‘Yard Giveaway’ is happening again on September 14, 9am-12pm.
A positive response to the first 18 months ago prompted the Uniting Church to run this event again, as well as the ever-increasing cost of living affecting many families.
Many of us have quality items lying around the home we don’t use that could be provided to those who could use or need it.
The group is asking our community to gather items to donate.
To combat growing food security concerns - with foodbank.org.au reporting as many as 3.7 million Australian households are estimated to have experienced food insecurity in the past 12 months - donations of food items are also encouraged.
Items can be brought down on the day, or contact Rae Collier on 0419 984 310 for more information.
The church will also be holding a cake stall on the day with cakes and slices for sale, so pop in after voting in the local government elections let them tempt your taste buds!

Please remember that it’s ‘Waste Not Wednesday’ for the food organics garden organics (green lid bins).
Did you know flowers, garden cuttings, seeds, and weeds can go in this bin? The worms love them!
Layering these with your organic food waste is also a great way to help minimize odour in your bin.
