Taralee Graham and Kassidy Cole were among 5000 students from 334 public schools across NSW involved in performing in 16 categories at Qudos Bank Arena on November 25 and 26.
The girls were part of the D’Arts Ensemble, and performed in a matinee and a night performance each day.
They went to Sydney with Finley High’s arts unit coordinator Tanea Bower for almost a week prior to perform in the event.
It will be televised on Channel 7 this Saturday from 7pm in Sydney, 8pm in Brisbane and 9.30pm in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
A special encore screening will be broadcast on Friday, December 23 at approximately 10.30pm, after Carols in the Domain.
Taralee has previously performed in the Riverina Dance Festival and credits her ability to perform to the assistance she is given by Miss Bower.
Miss Bower said Kassidy and Taralee performed well at the 2022 School Spectacular.
"The girls were remarkable and were a credit to the school, community and Department of Education,“ she said.
“We are very proud of Kassidy and Taralee’s achievements and hope the memories they have last a lifetime."
“More than 5000 students performed in this production.
“Kassidy and Taralee were two of only 130 students accepted into the D'Arts Ensemble out of the 450 students who applied for it.
“There were two full days of rehearsals before they had four performances across Friday and Saturday.”
Miss Bower said the week was full of so many ups and downs, but Kassidy and Taralee took the challenges in their stride.
“They adapted to changes, made friends, helped other schools by doing their makeup and represented their school to the best of their abilities,” she said.
