If you can place an unwrapped gift or voucher for a child of any age under the tree, they will be distributed to local families in need this festive season.
The initiative is being coordinated by Tocumwal Post Office and Tocumwal Phramacy.
There are many families in need of support and your generosity is greatly appreciated.
Please get your gifts in before Friday, December 6 so they can be distributed to local families in need.

Tocumwal’s Whole Town Garage Sale on Saturday was very successful.
Many people travelled to Tocumwal in the search of a bargain with the 16 registered households and five stalls set up in the Lions Function rooms.
The Lions Club members were kept busy with the sale of maps, egg and bacon rolls and sausages in bread.
All funds raised will be forwarded to the Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research Foundation (ALCCRF).
It will help them continue their mission to increase survival rates of childhood cancer by supporting cancer research efforts not just in Australia, but around the world.
The Lions Club members expect to run the event again next year.

There is still time to get your orders in for the Tocumwal Lions Community Hostel Christmas pudding fundraiser.
These puddings are traditional and crafted with much love and care, and orders can be made by contacting the hostel via email to tracey.morrison@tochostel.com.au or phone 5874 3650.
All proceeds will be going towards specialised equipment for the hostel residents, such as virtual reality headsets that allow the residents to expand their world and help them stay connected, active and happy.
The benefits of VR can help reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness, keep the mind active and can be used for physical therapy such as pain management, and mental health therapy.
Virtual reality can help residents relive cherished memories, that can be beneficial for residents with dementia or memory loss.
The puddings are priced at $29.99 per kilo.
They do have nuts in them, but can be requested to have no nuts when ordering.
Payment can be made with cash or via EFTPOS on collection from the hostel. Collection will be the week of December 16.

A reminder that the Ukuladies will be playing at the Tocumwal Community Centre, next door to the hospital on Adams St, this Thursday.
These ladies will perform some wonderful tunes from 1.30pm, with afternoon tea supplied for just a gold coin donation.

Now that the Tocumwal pool is open for another season, volunteers are urgently needed in the kiosk. Shifts are usually 2.5 hours.
Unfortunately, the pool won't be able to open if there are no volunteers to man it.
If you’re able to help, please contact Anne on 0428 128 363 or drop into the pool when it is open.
