There has been some great work being undertaken on the WAAAF Creek Walk recently, with Tocumwal Rotary pouring footings for the additional storyboards to be installed.

The time has come for the Sacred Heart School fete, which is on this Friday.
There is a major raffle and great prizes on the night, thanks to some very generous local businesses.
The prizes include adventure flights, tickets to the Tocumwal Airshow and vouchers to local businesses.
Please contact the school if you would like to buy tickets for the raffle but are unable to make it on the day. The school can be contacted on 5874 2371.
The fete begins at 5pm and the movie starts at 6.30pm for a gold coin donation.
There will be plenty to do and see on the night including games, live music, face painting and arts and crafts.
All are welcome to attend.

This week, Tocumwal Public School are celebrating Book Week and have several activities planned.
This will involve school teachers reading their newly acquired shortlisted books from the book fair with students.
They will then be engaging in art activities related to the books the students have read during the morning and middle sessions.
On Friday, children are invited to come to school dressed up as their favourite book character.
A parade will take place during the afternoon assembly, at 2.45pm.

The countdown is on to the 2023 Tocumwal Airshow with only weeks to go until the incredible event to be held on Sunday, September 17.
If you have been to this event before, you will know how good it is.
This is the last week to support the Tocumwal Public School bakery fundraiser with pre-orders for family sized pies and sweets from Macdermid’s Bakery closing this Friday.
Order forms can be collected from the school office, where you will be contacted by the bakery with what time and date your order will be ready.
Pick up will be from Tuesday, September 5 to Thursday, September 7 from 12pm.
These family sized pies and sweets are delicious and able to be frozen to use at a later date.
All profits from this fundraiser go to the Tocumwal Public School P&C Committee.
