Sharon and Paul at the post office have received reports from the North Pole that Santa has received quite a few letters from the boys and girls of Tocumwal without a return address so he cannot send a letter back to them.
Remember that all letters will be responded to, but Santa needs an address on the letter or envelope to make sure the kids get them.

Coral Wegmann is the newest member of the Tocumwal Lions Club.
Coral was inducted by Past District Governor Carol Kennedy during a club meeting last week.
The Lions Club has lost a few members during the past year.
Coral and the three other recent inductees bring the club numbers to 11.
While this is pleasing for the Lions Club, they will always welcome like-minded community members to join them.
The club is looking forward to continuing to serve the community and running programs such as Junior Public Speaking and fundraising activities that are held throughout the year.
The Railway Heritage Museum is also a big project which keeps their members busy.
The community is reminded the club is still collecting used postage stamps, old glasses and hearing aids.
You can drop off your used stamps in the blue collection bin at Tocumwal IGA.
To help with processing, please trim the paper to within 3mm of the stamp.
Old reading glasses and hearing aids that are collected are refurbished for those in need across Australia and around the world.

Tocumwal Fire and Rescue will be holding its annual Santa run this Sunday, December 22 from 3.15pm.
This year, the first stop will be Tocumwal Splash Park before Santa continues his tour around the streets of Tocumwal spreading Christmas cheer.
Any children who are on the outskirts of town are welcome to come to the Splash Park at 3.15pm to see Santa.

A reminder that it is not too late to enter the 2024 Tocumwal Christmas Lights Competition.
The prizes this year are Eftpos gift cards valued at $300, $200 and $100 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. There are categories for both businesses and homes.
You can register your festive home by e-mailing tcdc2714@gmail.com with your name, address and phone number before the mystery judges do their drive around on Thursday, December 19. Businesses do not need to register.

The 2024 Carols on the Foreshore are set to be held this Saturday, December 21 at the later start time of 7pm to beat the blazing heat.
Jade Camden is once again headlining the event and Santa will be dropping in to say hello. The winners of the Christmas Lights competition will also be announced.
