More than 80 children attended the camp in Jerilderie.
“This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” (1 John 4:10 NIV).

The Jerilderie Uniting Church last week hosted the DIGJ Youth Group (33 members) from Wesley Mission in Sydney, who came to Jerilderie to run a three day holiday program at the Jerilderie Racecourse.
More than 80 young people from across the Southern Riverina attended.
The program included sports, crafts, cooking, canoeing, water games, stories, fabulous food and more.
The young leaders modelled Christ like behaviour in their dedication to share Christ’s sacrificial love with everyone who attended. They brought the Easter message to life.
Just as Jesus came into the world to give up his life on the cross to pay the price for our sins, they came to Jerilderie to demonstrate sacrificial love. They lit up our town with their faith and love for Christ.
Murrumbidgee Council made it all possible by donating the use of the racecourse for the program.
The Uniting Church ladies, Jerilderie ladies, and volunteers from other towns made well over 100 lunches each day, and morning and afternoon teas.
Incredibly, 26 Coleambally children travelled by bus each day to the event. Thank you to the Coleambally Uniting Church for contributing funds to reduce the cost of the bus.
This event was only made possible because many people and organisations gave up their finances, their time and their energy to make it all happen.
