It was popular with great attendance for both the drama workshop and LEGO Robotics workshops, and interest in the program returning in 2025.
On Wednesday, Ben Stonnill was supported by Helen Dickie to run a full-day drama workshop at the Berrigan Soldiers War Memorial Hall.
The well-attended workshop attracted students from as far as Urana and Barooga.
Mr Stonnill offered drama games and skills development, exploring acting, singing, and sound and lightning.
Students who participated in the workshop then had the opportunity to join Mr Stonnill and other members of the Berrigan Amateur Dramatic Society in providing musical entertainment in the luncheon room at Sunday’s Berrigan Show.
On Saturday, two half-day LEGO robotics workshops were facilitated by Fizzics Education allowing students to code LEGO robotics.
These popular workshops had students coding LEGO Mindstorm robots using Scratch, to complete tasks including knocking over ten pins.
Students used iteration to improve their programming gradually adding additional steps, sound and movements.
Fizzics Education was also back at the Berrigan Show on Sunday with entertaining and educational Science with Toys shows and plenty of free activities.
The Berrigan Show Spring School Holiday Program activities were funded by the NSW government's office for Regional Youth.
