Katty won the toss and chose to bat.
The Cats bowled well all day and were disappointed by a few dropped catches.
Archie Mason (1/30 off nine) and Jono Cattell (3/39 off nine) got the Cats away to a good start.
They were backed up by a great spell by Matt Jackson (1/12 off nine).
Harrison King and Cougar McGrath also picked up a wicket each and Cameron Robertson bowled a handy tight spell.
The Cats bowled Katty out for 158 with the last ball of the innings.
The Cats went into bat, with Mason (9) taking the first over for two boundaries.
He was dismissed shortly after, and it was on McGrath (53) and Cattell (8).
Unfortunately for the Cats, they just couldn’t build partnerships and get into the innings to be bowled out for 92.
It was a good hit out for the first game back.
The Finley Bakery & Patisserie players’ player went to Cougar McGrath.
