A-grade took the court with a number of junior players making up the starting seven. It’s great to see the depth and encouragement within the team.
A strong game against Tungamah, and a hard fought loss.
Best on Court went to young gun Ava Belling, who had a strong display for all four quarters, taking a number of intercepts, and a dominant performance to move the ball down the court and into our attacking end.
It was the defensive end which was dominant in their performance, with great interceptions, reading the play and moving the ball to the attacking end.
Congratulations to Siarne Deeves who made her A-grade debut and is a great addition to the club this year. She ran out the last quarter in C, highlighting just how valuable she is with strong passes and good direction down the court.

B-grade: Jerilderie 29 def by Tungamah 55.
A solid performance by our midcourt with Toni Shaw and Heidi Bryce proving very strong.
Overall a great effort - heads up.
We look forward to Blighty this week and what we’re hoping will be a continued solid performance and hopefully a win.

C-grade: Jerilderie 37 def by Tungamah 67.
C-grade tried their hardest this week, with a few players not feeling 100 per cent.
They put their best foot forward and ran the entire game out.
We’ll look towards this week against Blighty and hope to be back on the winner’s list.

C Reserve: Jerilderie 25 def by Tungamah 42.
Unfortunately it was a loss against Tungamah, but we made them fight for it.
The team showed up motivated and all smiling ready to take to the court.
The defence worked well together and were able to take many interceptions and rebounds, getting the ball back down the court.
The midcourt was energetic from the first whistle and showed impressive skills.
In the end the girls worked tirelessly to break free from a tight defence to get some goals.
The players were still smiling at the end of the match, ready to take on Blighty this week.

While the girls put in a great effort, they went down by 10 goals.
The hard fought game gave players an insight into areas of improvement and where they need to be at to target finals coming into the back end of the season.

The first quarter started off well for the girls with some great defensive work and attacking.
All the girls tried their hardest and showed they can step up against the top teams.

Unfortunately the girls didn’t come away with a win this week.

A tough game for our under-11s team playing a much taller side.
The skills are always improving and it’s clear they have been working hard at training.
Piper Parker played a great game developing her defensive skills.
Harriet Walker showed her accurate shooting skills and took some great intercepts throughout the game.
Annie Ham passed well in centre and showed her developing defensive skills.
