The league updated its fixture for the 2022 season on Tuesday afternoon, with even more Good Friday football added to what is shaping up to be an action-packed Easter round.
Kyabram and Rochester headline the changes, with the Bombers and Tigers added to the hallowed footy timeslot.
The round two contest has been confirmed as a 6.45pm game under lights at Kyabram Recreation Reserve on April 15.
The fixture change means there are now three games for league followers to indulge in on Good Friday.
Action kicks off at 2pm between Tatura and Benalla at Benalla Showgrounds, followed by the annual Good Friday clash at Deakin Reserve.
Co-tenants Shepparton and Shepparton United will renew their rivalry at 6.35pm.
Some other minor changes include a reshuffling of several games, with clubs wishing to avoid clashes with events.
In round seven, two games have been shifted from Saturday to Sunday.
Mansfield and Shepparton Swans will meet on Sunday, May 22, followed by Kyabram at home to Euroa.
Shepparton’s round 13 clash against Euroa was formerly a Sunday game, but will now take place on Saturday, July 2.
The Bears’ round 14 and round 17 clashes have been updated as well.
Ted Lindon’s charges will now travel to Mansfield on Saturday, July 23, while they welcome Benalla on Sunday, August 21.
Echuca’s round eight match-up against arch-rival Rochester has moved to a Sunday, while the grand final rematch against Kyabram, formerly the sole Sunday game of round 15, has been moved to the Saturday.
With Sunday games a new addition to the 2022 fixture and COVID-19 disruptions still an ongoing possibility, the league has indicated that times are subject to change.
No further changes have been indicated.
The Goulburn Valley League season will begin on April 9.
