Havana Sztejman, who will turn 10 in May, impressed selectors at the regional trials in Albury and secured her spot as the youngest member of the Riverina Primary School Girls team.
Her passion and skill stood out among the competition, marking a significant milestone in her young sporting journey.
She will represent Riverina at the State Championship in Ballina from August 26 to 28.
Meanwhile the high school winger, 16 year-old Roche Du Toit has been named in the Riverina Girls High School Open Age team.
Her selection highlights not only her individual talent but also her commitment to the game, having recently stepped up to play with the women's team in Moama.
Roche will compete in Blacktown from June 4 to 6.
Both Havana and Roche have spent the past two seasons training with Strike Force Soccer Academy and many years with Deniliquin District Soccer Club, where they've developed their skills, discipline, and teamwork.
Their dedication and consistent effort have paid off, earning them the chance to represent their region on a bigger stage.
This is a fantastic achievement for the girls and a proud moment for Deniliquin, showcasing the growing strength of local female talent in the sport.
Deniliquin District Soccer Club and Strike Force Soccer Academy are thrilled to see young females making a name for themselves and are encouraging other young boys and girls who are passionate about soccer to get involved in the upcoming season and follow in the footsteps of these young ambassadors of the sport.
