Last Monday saw the start of our Junior Golf Clinic, with 24 keen enthusiasts ready for roll-call.

They were very eager to find the greens ready for safety instructions, club handling and set up basics, putting introduction and practice.
The golfers were divided into five groups and circulated through four different stations with differing skill drills to practice putting.
From the level of noise and excitement, the little golfers all had a fantastic time.
This week, the program moves from putting to chipping.
A few spots of drizzle last Wednesday were not enough to dampen golf prowess or anyone’s spirit, with nine ladies enjoying the lovely course for a stableford event.
Some terrific results achieved with Sara Ham leading the charge throughout the 18 holes and Denise Boland a brilliant airborne pitch up high and into the 17th hole from 40m out!

A warmer day on Sunday, with golfers enjoying Men’s Monthly Medal Stroke (putts) and medley stroke (putts).
Winner was Mick Pitt 86/15/71, r/u Denise Boland 90/17/73, NTP: 5th Mick Pitt, 7th Ian Taylor, 15th Luke Keating, 16th Mick Pitt, Putts David Leeds 30.
Congratulations to Dave Hercus and Di Rutherford who represented Jerilderie in Thurgoona on Sunday (Mixed Division) of the Golf NSW Keno Regional Final.
A great experience for both Dave and Di, with both saying the trip to Thurgoona was worth every kilometre of travel and time.
Format for Wednesday golf this week will be medley stableford.
Sunday golf will be two person ambrose (draw partners)/Go Fish.
Ladies meeting and presentation night will be on Friday, November 15 at 6pm followed by dinner 7pm at the Chinese restaurant, with all golfers (ladies, gents, husbands, wives and partners) welcome to join for dinner.

Friday's winner was Alan Arnold (44-9.5-34.5), r/u Gail Browne (43-7-36), putting Beau Wallis with 13 and ball winners Joe Karakai (45-8.5-36.5) and Brad Vale (50-13-37).
Saturday's winner was Beau Wallis (42-9.5-32.5), r/u Joe Karakai (42-8.5-33.5), Beau Wallis won the putting with 12 and ball winners were Chris Cameron (37-3-34) and Jeff Stein (46-10-36).
Sunday's winner was Brendan Haintz (94-26-68), r/u Alan Arnold (86-18-68), Neil Graham won the putting with 28 and ball winner was Neil Graham (97-26-71).
Next Sunday is stableford.
Finley
A field of 46 ladies played stableford at the 2024 Anne Freestone Finley v Cobram Barooga Challenge on Wednesday.
The Challenge Shield was claimed by the home town Finley team with 30.88 points, with Cobram Barooga finishing on 29.48 points.
Individual winners were: Cobram Barooga - Ruth Ward 39, r/u Maria Mentha 37. Finley - Hannah Kelly 38, c/b Sue Simpson.
NTPs: 3rd Gai Mitchelson (Cobram), 6th Margaret Wallace (Cobram), 11th Grace Valente (Cobram), 13th Maree Doyle (Finley), 18th Beth White (Finley).

Trevor McCaw won the nine hole stableford competition on Thursday with 23 points.

Saturday was the Mogg Accounting Stroke Day, which included the October monthly medal for both men and women.
