Finley won the toss and elected to bowl, to try and beat the heat.
Katty started off slow and a quick wicket from Jackson Tooke had them at 1/8.
Katty steadied themselves from there, piling on a few runs to get themselves to 1/39 before Murray Urquhart (2/7 off five) and Callum Campbell (3/14 off five) came in to bowl.
Both bowled well to start tearing through the Katty wickets, and the visitors were eventually bowled out for 97.
After a short break, it was Finley’s turn to try and chase down Katty’s score.
The Cats opened with father-son duo Alister and Lachie Wells.
They were hitting them very well before Al was trapped LBW for 20.
This wicket saw Finley still in control at 1/38.
Next in to bat was Ryan Donkin, who made a quick 15 before being dismissed with Finley at 2/63.
After a quick drinks break, Lachie was also trapped LBW finishing his batting innings on 25.
This lead to the smart batting of Anthony King (16) and Marcus Anderson (10), who chipped away at the bad balls and bringing the win home for Finley at 4/99 after 20 overs.
The Finley Bakery and Patisserie player of the day went to Alister Wells.
Next week, Finley take on top of the table Deni at home on Saturday.
