Kira gains netball selection

MFL open team coach Liz Mehmet, also from Tocumwal, said she is “excited to see what Dickins can do with the rest of the team”.

“The team will be taking on the best players at the championships.

“Kira is a stand-out defender. She is a Yarrawonga lady who is new to town, as her husband has taken up the role of senior assistant coach at Tocumwal.

“She is a welcome addition to our Tocumwal A-grade side.

“Kira will bring strength and knowledge to the defensive end in the open rep side.”

The championships also offer a chance for aspiring coaches to hone their craft, and an opportunity for umpires and officials to continue on their pathway to high performance.
