This prestigious annual event attracts the best masters players from throughout Australia with around 20 international players also taking part.
To qualify for masters, players have to be over the age of 30. With age groups moving up in increments of 5, there were plenty of opportunities for a hit.
This tournament, which has been hosted in Yarrawonga for several years, is a rankings event for players to accrue points towards the World ITF ranking.
The first two days of the tournament were extremely warm and tested the endurance of the players especially when they were playing singles.
Sunday and Monday play saw slightly cooler conditions with finals held in muggy conditions on Monday morning before the event wrapped up.
A Yarrawonga Lawn Tennis Club spokesperson said players were full of praise for the courts and most were returning players who have locked this event into their calendar.
“Thank you to all participants for playing. A special thank you also to our groundsmen and volunteers who ensured the event was a success.”
