It was another great day for netball with a huge crowd watching.
Finley stuck to what they have been working on at trainings which was great to see.
Even though the score didn’t reflect it, they still played a great game and the team can hold their heads high.

B-grade: Finley 41 def Deni Rams 38.
The girls were able to secure their second win of the season in another hot round of netball.
It was a tough game, even throughout the first three quarters.
Finley were able to come out strong in the last quarter, focused on their own game and implementing what they had learnt at training, finishing with a great win.
C-grade: Finley 33 def by Deni Rams 39.
The shooters were under constant defensive pressure all four quarters and found it tough to keep the scoreboard ticking over but never gave up.
The mid-court connections are improving each week and will only get stronger as the season progresses.
The defensive end was strong with rebounds and their pressure forcing turnovers.
Best on Court went to Judy Plattfuss for her efforts in defence.
Finley RSC Coaches’ award went to Shannon Peasley who was rock solid in WD.
C-reserve: Finley 36 def Deni Rams 21.
The team was determined to get their first win of the season and did just that, with great team play and sportsmanship by all involved.
The girls all played to their strengths and got around each other when things were done well.
Plenty of defensive turnovers, the mid-court players brought the ball down well and shooters had a great game with their shots on point.
It was a great win by all involved and with the aim to train hard again and keep up the momentum.

Under-17s: Finley 39 def by Deni Rams 57.
Deniliquin gave Finley a challenging game.
In the first quarter, both sides were evenly matched, but Deniliquin gained the ascendancy.
As a team, Finley learnt a lot from this game including skills and combinations that need to be improved.
Charlotte Fleming was a crucial player to finding success at both ends of the court.
Pip Bain was the other award winner for her consistency, especially in WA, in her first season of netball.
Under-15s: Finley 28 def Deni Rams 22.
Keen to repeat last week's win, the girls took an early lead.
They were well matched against Deni and worked together as a team to maintain a lead at each break.
The rolling subs were a key strategy for managing the heat and the girls happily filled whatever spot they were given.
Positivity and skill combined to give them another great win on the board.
Awards: Marlee Simpson, Eloise Harris.
Under-13s: Finley 14 def by Deni Rams 32.
The girls had a tough game against Deni, with the heat and the pressure making it tough.
Although it was hard, the girls continually pushed through and still managed to have a great game with some impressive plays and intercepts.
The awards went to Ivy Murray who played well at both ends of the court and Matilda Marshall who made many intercepts and was a great team player.
Under-11s: Not scored.
The little under-11s played a great game. They collectively showed great sportsmanship on and off the court by constantly encouraging each other.
The team is becoming more familiar with each other each week and it is starting to show on the court.
