On Saturday, October 22, a great day of golf was played, where 30 players braved the weather, which despite the mozzies was a perfect day.
The day was sponsored by Jeremy and Kerrie O'Dwyer.
The winners were Matt Whelan and Neil Graham, who won $400 each.
The runners-up were Chris Kelly and Jeremy O'Dwyer.
Nearest the pin was Kerrie O'Dwyer on the 8th, Nick Manley on the 8th and Jeremy Packer on the 2nd.
The winners for the non-handicap section were Andrew and Vanessa Parr, who won $100 each.
A presentation followed to farewell Jeremy, Kerrie, Lachlan and Jessica.
Chris Kelly spoke on behalf of the many years of work Jeremy and Kerrie have done at the club in various roles.
Andrea Packer spoke on behalf of the Public School, Kathy Harris on behalf of the Drama Club and Chris Cameron made a very entertaining speech on behalf of the Football and Netball Club.
The speeches were followed by a presentation to Jeremy and Kerrie of a garden bench seat and, of course, Better in Berrigan bag and coffee mugs.
Thank you to all that made the day a huge success.

We are having water problems on our course, the same as many other clubs in the region.
The bridge that crosses the Billabong Creek is out of action, so technically the course is cut in half.
The President’s Cup that was to be held Sunday, November 6 has been cancelled.
We are not sure when we can return to normal golf as Mother Nature is in control.
A few holes can be played from the Pitt Stop for anyone wanting to have a hit.
