The Blighty A-grade team got the four points.
It was a great game by all, with determination and drive helping the team hold onto the lead.
It was nice to have pretty much everyone back on the court for the week and a great game to watch.

B-grade: Blighty 41 def by Picola 43.
The game was so close! If only the whistle held out a couple more minutes.
It was a great game from both sides, played with determination and grit.

C-grade: Blighty 15 def by Picola 54.
The team put in a tremendous effort, adjusting their game to the wet and slippery conditions they were dealt.
The line-up welcomed players back from injuries, and it was fantastic to see the Blighty girls backing each other up and having fun despite the loss.

C-reserve: Blighty 6 def by Picola 53.
It was a tough game out in the weather against Picola, but the ladies played well, never dropping their heads.
It was a special occasion with club Life Member Penny Gallpen taking the court for the first time with daughter Elissa. It was a privilege to watch from the sidelines.

Under-17s: Blighty 47 def Picola 24.
The Redeyes came out ready for an even tussle and took the lead at the end of the first quarter.
Amelia Hay stepped in again this week and did not disappoint, playing strongly in GD. The girls continued to maintain the lead for an easy win.
Sammy Watson was superb in GS, creating great gameplay in the goal ring and finishing some lovely goals. She was backed up by another solid game from Ash Charlton.
Bella Gordon took great initiative in defence, getting her hand to the ball and creating turnovers.
Dakota McKenzie seized loose balls on the court and helped convert them with lovely passing to the shooters.
It was a fantastic win and a full team effort.

Under-15s: Blighty 13 def by Picola 30.
Picola were a very strong side, however our defenders worked extremely hard to pick up any loose balls and grab rebounds whenever they could.
Izzy Pearn worked tirelessly to ensure her opponent did not get the ball, along with Milly Hanmer grabbing rebounds, so they didn’t get a second chance at the shot.
Cassady Sibraa was amazing down our shooting end. She was always there as an option and encouraging her teammates. Well done, girls.

Under-13s: Blighty 29 def Picola 18.
Blighty had a convincing win in cold conditions against Picola. It was another fantastic team performance, with players demonstrating their determination and versatility with multiple position rotations.
Lilly Petersen again stood tall in defence to turn the ball over and send it back into attack with support from Savannah Bain.
Lena Seely worked hard all game to collect the loose balls and support midcourters Kaydnce Sibraa and Amelia Armytage.
Shelby Huckin continues to improve with excellent talk and controlled ball handling to goaling duo Ella Charlton and Ellie Miller.

Another amazing game played by all.
Remy Tremble was pivotal in defence, shadowing her player and moving the ball down the court.
Keira Lankow made space and used her voice to ensure the ball moved nicely down the court.
Alice Petersen was amazing in both shooter and defence, using her height to her advantage to get rebounds.
