The Rhinos retained third-place on the competition ladder after a convincing 163-run win against Berrigan last Saturday.
However, the Rhinos face a stern challenge in the form of an undefeated Cobram side this weekend.
Cobram had an 118-run win against Finley last round and are being led by opening batsman Shaun Downie.
He is the second highest run-scorer in the league, with 232 runs, with a batting average of 58 runs.
Next is Deni’s Griegan French, who has scored 254 runs at an average of 50.8.
In the bowling, Cobram is led by the third-highest wicket taker in the competition, with Jeremy Baden having 12 wickets and a bowling average of 11.
But the Rhinos also have the competition’s leading wicket-taker Matt Taylor, with 14 wickets at an average of 8.29.
In last year’s corresponding fixture in Deniliquin, Cobram won the toss and elected to bat.
In that game, Hunter Hardwidge top scored for the visitors with 28 at number eight as Cobram posted a total of 157 all out in the 44th over.
Manraj Virdi was the main wicket-taker for the Rhinos with figures of 4-29 off nine overs.
In reply, Andrew Hogan top-scored for the Rhinos with 52 runs at number four.
The Rhinos had only one other double-digit score, 18, from Boddie Arthur, which saw the Rhinos bowled out in the 45th over for 108, 49 runs short of Cobram.
The best bowling figures for the Tigers were Jack Beasley’s 2-4 off nine overs and Jimmy Daniel’s 2-10 off 8.3 overs.
C-grade
In C-grade, the Rhinos reclaimed top spot on the ladder last Saturday with a seven-wicket win over Strathmerton.
The Rhinos bowled the Bulldogs out for a score of 45 in 21 overs before reaching the target in 12 overs in reply.
This week, they take on a third-place Cobram side in a grand final rematch at Memorial Park from 1pm tomorrow.
Junior cricket
In the under-15s, the Rhinos begin their two-dayer against Tocumwal at Deniliquin Memorial Park from 8.30am tomorrow.
In the under-13s the Rhinos White are at home at Memorial against Barooga from 5pm this afternoon.
Rhinos Red are away in Strathmerton against the Bulldogs.
The other age groups continue this week, including the under-17s where Barooga is taking on Nathalia away while Cobram are at home against Tocumwal and Katunga have the bye.
