It was such a close game for the Saints, and it felt like a win!
Sam Henderson and Gracie Lagudi found their groove and made some excellent plays and great goals. The whole team worked cohesively down the court.
Meg Brooks and Gen Taylor stood out in defence and made some impactful intercepts.
Mia Coldwell set a fast pace, made some exceptional drives and was heavily supported by Amelia Packer and Vanessa Parr.
It was a brilliant game, ladies, and a fantastic game to watch. It was great to see the girls back in form!

The Saints set a brilliant fast pace that kept the Cats working hard.
Gracie Rice and Leteisha Hague dominated in the ring against tall shooters.
Annie Cameron and Tamara Holley stepped it up with great movements in the ring.
The Cats really stepped up in the last half, leaving the Saints working to keep the intensity up. There are a few things to work on at training, but great effort, ladies.

After a slow start for the first half of the game, Berrigan kicked it up a gear to finish with a 25-point win against the Cats.
The defensive pressure was immaculate and non-stop. Once those girls get going, they’re an unstoppable force! It was so great to watch the girls playing at their best!

The girls played beautifully on Saturday! There were amazing interceptions in defence that resulted in some great passages of play.
Princess Arcasitas stepped it up, working the ring and midcourt spectacularly, resulting in many goals.
Unfortunately, Katandra wasn’t going down easy and turned some centre passes to get past us for the win. Keep up the hard work, girls!

We are delighted to welcome Madison Keel, who has joined our team for the remainder of the season.
The girls started strong against a strong side. Although they eased up a bit in the last quarter, they managed to hold on and secure a draw!
Darcie Smith switched positions and shot the final goal, which kept us in the game.
Madison came on in the second quarter, made some impressive intercepts, applied intense defensive pressure, and had excellent passes down the court.
Sophie Baxter was outstanding, running all four quarters in the centre, participating in every contest, and driving beautifully onto the ball when needed.
As we approach the end of the season, there are a few things to work on, but the excitement is building for these girls!

Our young Saints were on fire with all the girls playing their part.
Our defenders, Sophie Wiencke, Alexis Trewhella, Lizzie Gorman and Lacey Morgan applied consistent pressure, disrupting Katandra’s flow.
Ella Swann, Lillie Martin, Nevaeh Trewhella, Audrey James, and Emma James played pivotal roles in the midcourt ensuring the ball made it to our goal ring.
