Ball competition winners were R Klemke, M Daniel and I Armer who all finished with 34 points.
Wednesday was also the final day of the ladies’ program, before the commencement of the Summer Medley Competitions.
Nineteen ladies played in a 9-hole competition, with T Dean the winner with 22 points.
Golf was followed by a delicious lunch provided by the ladies, and the 2024 ladies’ presentation.
The Thursday afternoon 9-hole stableford competition was won by G Shaw with 21 points.
Ball competition winners were J Taylor and M Daniel, with 20 points on countback.
Saturday’s Medal of Medals event was postponed due to the condition of the course.
Stableford medley was played instead, with nine golfers braving the conditions.
T Dean, with 38 points, came in the winner.
Ball competition winner was J Taylor with 36 points.
Men’s NTP on 18th went to J Taylor, with S Simpson taking the ladies NTP on the 13th.
Stableford was played again on Sunday, and D Pyle won the day with 36 points.
Ball competition winners were J Pyle on 35 points, M Pyle on 34 points, and J Smith and M Hunt each with 32.
NTP on the 18th went to T Westblade.
Berrigan
Friday's winner was Joe Karakai (43-8.5-34.5), and runner-up was Spike Salter (56-20-36).
Gail Browne won the putting with 14 putts, and was also a ball winner (43-6.5-36.5) along with Fredi Winkler (55-16-39).
Saturday’s winner was Chris Cameron (42-3-39), and runner-up was Doug Cameron (44-5-39).
Doug also won the putting with 13 putts, and ball winner was Joe Nicholls (49-9-40).
Chris had another win on Sunday with 35 points, and Alan Arnold was runner-up on 33 points.
This Friday, golf tee off will be at 3pm.
Saturday’s tee time is 2pm and Sunday is at 9.30am.
Mid Murray Pennant
Round five of the Mid Murray Pennant resulted in a draw for the Deniliquin and Cobram 1 teams.
Finishing with 2.5 a piece, the point for Deni sees them in seventh place on the ladder, while Cobram 1 sit firmly in third.
Cobram 2 managed a win over Finley, 3.5-1.5, to secure their top spot placing.
In the other matches, Tocumwal 1 defeated Corowa 3-2, and Yarrawonga easily accounted to Tocumwal 2 with a score of 4-1.
The ladder is as follows: Cobram 2 - 6 points (33 for, 19 against); Tocumwal 1 - 6 points (33 for, 23 against); Cobram 1 - 5 points (28 for, 18 against); Finley - 4 points (32 for, 22 against); Yarrawonga - 4 points (29 for, 33 against); Corowa - 3 points (12 for, 20.5 against); Deni - 2 points (23 for, 20 against); Tocumwal 2 - 2 points (15.5 for, 21 against).
In round six, the two Cobram teams will play each other. This match will be held at Cobram.
All others will be held at Tocumwal, with Finley to play Corowa, Toc 2 to play Deni and Toc 1 playing Yarrawonga.
