It was a goal-for-goal game until the last quarter with excellent team effort the whole game.
Annalise Barlow (Jerilderie Grain Storage and Handling BOC) worked well with Ellie Marshall in the ring.
Keshia Marshall (Wunnumurra Poll Dorsets award) and Sara Smith fed the ball with ease into the ring and both players both worked well in the mid court, enabling turn overs to be converted into goals.
Defence had a tough game with Katy being very accurate on the day.
Well done to Amy Perry (Colony Inn award), working smoothly in the ring with Ella Arnold, and Annabel Arnold assisting the defence and attack ends.
B grade - Jerilderie 24 lost to Katamatite 30.
The Demons put up a mighty fight all game but Katy’s defence was on point allowing them to take home the win.
Shooters Katelyn Marshall, Emily Ford and Tania Rorato worked their hardest inside the ring, creating lots of great plays, taking incredible rebounds and shooting multiple long shots.
Mid courters Storm Mulham (Jerilderie Sports Club), Ally Gregory, Mia Neessen and Chelsea Winn (Colony Inn) all worked incredibly hard to get the ball down the court into our shooters, and also putting on great defensive pressure to enable multiple turnovers.
Defenders Meagan Mauger (BOC Cotton Seed Distributors) and Lucy Simpson were all over Katy’s attackers, snatching in every rebound and loose balls.
C Grade - Jerilderie 38 lt Katamatite 50.
The game started so well with the teams gelling well to lead at first break.
But with players already playing other games, fitness became an issue.
Katy made some key changes and were able to steadily take control to grab the win.
The Jerilderie girls never gave up, and with more game time together will enjoy some success.

In the first game of the year, the mighty C res played a very mature brand of netball.
Sandy and Sam were controlling the midcourt and with Laura and Eden shooting well the team got off to a great start.
Sarah Gircuillio was fantastic in GD to win the Lawton Spraying BOC.
Montana Aylett came on and played with great maturity to win Laura’s Beauty Award, and Laura celebrated being named captain to win the club award.
Under 15s - Jerilderie 28 def Katamatite 12.
The under 15s had their second win for the season.
Chelsea Winn starred in the goal circle to win herself Best on Court (Jerilderie Tyre Service).
Twelve year-old Ruby Neessen dominated in the mid court to win the Mungos Repairs Award.
Montana Aylett played well in different positions all over the court to take home Colony Inn Award.
Zara Williams and Mia Kernaghan stepped up from U13s and played some great netball.
Under 13s - Jerilderie 11 def Katamatite 9.
A great team effort by all the girls, continuing on from the solid start last week.
Ruby Neessen (Colony Inn) lead from the front in GA to play a terrific captains game.
Stella Williams (Sports Club award) played numerous positions and showed she was more than capable in this grade.
Chelsie Hibbert, playing her first game also gave the team good drive to be one of the best.
