B-grade
Finley B-grade cricketers took on Cobram on Saturday, looking to continue their form from the previous week, but with an undermanned side, it was going to be a tough job.
Finley won the toss and decided to bat, reaching 8/137 after 40 overs with main contributors Jordan Dean (16 n.o.), Lenny Dattoli (17), Cameron Isedale (17), Mitch Pyle (21) and Fraser Pinnuck (23).
Finley took to the field looking for early wickets and Dattoli (2/30 off 8) got one.
Cobram then built a strong partnership before Dattoli struck again.
Cobram were cruising to victory before another wicket, this time to Pyle (1/8 off 4), gave Finley a glimmer of hope but in the end Cobram were too good taking the win by seven wickets.
With seven players under-17 and five of those under-15, the club was proud of the effort.

Under-15s
The under-15s resumed their match against Tocumwal on Saturday at Finley, with the Cats trying to chase down 160.
Ryan Bauer started the side off well making 23.
Jordan Dean came in at three and also batted well, making 31.
Evan Lawton and Angus kept Finley in the game, making 27 and 19 respectively, but the young Cats came up just short, finishing their innings all out for 127.
The Cats should be proud of their efforts and get ready to bounce back this week against Cobram.
