This saw a lift in the team, but with Barooga kicking with the wind they added another five goals, leaving a 69-point deficit at the main break.
The Bloods came out after the long break breathing fire as they started to turn the game around with strong ball movement initiated by the hard running and attack on the ball of Rowe and JR Cardillo.
Dicko was dominating the ruck clearances in the middle as usual and captain Mitch Collins-Bye continued his hardness at the ball and dominance by providing a springboard for attack, strongly supported by Coach D, Haebich and Morse.
Strong defence by Lavis and White withheld multiple attacks into Tocumwal’s defensive 50 only allowing two goals in.
Tocumwal managed to kick four goals with contributions from Tom Barker, Leigh Morse, Brock McCabe and Blair Eddy to clearly win the quarter.
At the start of the last quarter coach Rowe asked that their effort not be in vain and that they go on with the job at hand in the last quarter.
Unfortunately, this did not go to plan despite a lift in effort, as Barooga added another seven goals to their total to put the game out of reach.
The boys are looking forward to the two weeks off to get on top of a few niggling injuries and re-focus for the last six home and away games of the season.

A week is definitely a long time in football with the Tocumwal Reserves once again losing a few players for senior duty however, they filled the ranks with a few new and able faces.
Seasonal workers Ben Wilsen, Matt Burke and Chris Scott all put their hand up to play their first game of Aussie Rules Football.
Tristan helped out up forward playing his first game for the club, and Toby Chappell was a late inclusion helping out across the ground in all positions.
With Barooga sitting in a similar ladder position to Toc there was reason for confidence going into the game and the guys started with plenty of endeavour and spirit.
Glynn Matters won the toss again and kicked with the breeze, but despite winning a fair share of the footy, Toc was unable to apply any real scoreboard pressure.
Going into the first break, neither team had registered a goal and the game was tight, however, in the second quarter Barooga picked up their pace and managed to kick four goals which ultimately was the difference with the final score.
Despite the loss Tocumwal had plenty of winners across the ground.
Drew Eddy was a standout across half-back, Pete Harrison played a great game in the ruck, Matters was fantastic around the contested play as an outside while Burke playing his first game of AFL on the wing had some great passages of play.
Tristan kicked his first goal for the club, Stotty played another hard game in the middle while Jordy, Ben Wilson and Jack Ardle were solid in defense.
Well done to all the boys and thanks to everyone who filled in and helped out.

On an extremely wet track the boys came out firing and had all the play in the first quarter. They took a handy lead going into the quarter time break.
The thirds’ boys weathered Barooga’s charge in the second quarter to take a four point advantage into half-time.
The third quarter hasn’t been our strong point this year and it was put to the boys to turn that around and to their credit, they came out absolutely on fire and won the third quarter.
At the final change the boys had the game in their grip and knew they had to grind and play a full four quarter game to get the job done.
We had the ball in our forward half for 16 of the 18 minutes, but couldn’t quite put Barooga away.
The final two minutes were extremely tense and exciting with Barooga having it in the forward line but as these boys do, they fought tooth and nail right to the end and came away with a three-point win.

In sodden conditions, the scoreboard definitely did not show how much effort the fourths put in with the young Bloods not able to convert their dominance of possession.
