It means the under-15s, under-17s, C-grade and B-grade teams have all been eliminated from finals.
Still in the running are the under-17s footballers and under-13s and C-Reserve netballers, who play in the preliminary finals this weekend.
Under-15s: Tocumwal 16 def by Rennie 35.
It was a great game to end the season, as all the girls gave everything.
It was an awesome season; all players should feel proud.
Under-17s: Tocumwal 23 def by Katunga 33.
A big congratulations to Tully Jones (captain) and Chloe Herezo (vice-captain), who played their 100th games for the Bloods.
They have both led and encouraged the team all year.
The girls fought until the end against a very determined Katunga team.
While the side didn’t come away with the win it wanted, the girls should be very proud of their efforts in this match and throughout the season.
C-grade: Tocumwal 6 def by Tungamah 12.
The girls played an amazing game, considering the heat.
The defence was strong, but Tungamah’s defence was stronger. It was a close game for three quarters.
B-grade: Tocumwal 28 def by Strathmerton 49.
With the captain out, the girls had to draw on all their strength and determination.
Things didn’t go our way from the start, but the girls didn’t give up and gave it their all.
Congratulations on such a great season, hold your heads high knowing you left it all out on the court.
